Candidates
Ideal candidates for AviClear™ are men and women who experience acne on the face, shoulders, back, and chest that they wish to eliminate without the use of medication or undergoing Accutane. Patients should be in good general health and have realistic expectations of their results.
PROCEDURE
For the AviClear™ laser procedure, patients will experience a quick 30-minute session using the power of laser light to target and suppress oil glands in order to prevent acne from continuing its acne cycle. This procedure uses a combination of AviClear™’s 1726 nm wavelength and AviCool™ contact cooling to ensure a safe, pain-free treatment experience.
AviClear™ is safe for all skin types, including olive-toned skin and skin of color. A series of three treatments spaced approximately one month apart is recommended to achieve optimal results. The best results are usually seen after the completion of the full series.

RECOVERY
Patients who undergo an AviClear™ laser acne treatment may experience mild inflammation or redness at the treatment site, both of which should subside quickly. An acne breakout may appear a few days after treatment due to the nature of the procedure itself. AviClear™ does not require any downtime, and normal activities may be resumed immediately after.
