About the Procedure

Laser treatment works by targeting specific skin components, which are concentrated in vascular or dark colored lesions. These compounds readily absorb specific energy wavelengths, causing an increase in temperature.

In vascular treatment, the result is blood coagulation, which leads to the collapse of targeted vessels. Over time, the vascular tissue is absorbed and processed by the body. When brown spots are treated, there may be some skin flaking as damaged cells are shed and replaced with healthy ones.
