What should you avoid after a CUTERA® Genesis treatment?
After getting the CUTERA® Genesis treatment, you should avoid direct sunlight for at least two to three days after the treatment. Avoid any irritating treatments and exfoliants until the redness fades.
When can I wash my face after getting the CUTERA® Genesis treatment?
You might want to avoid doing anything to your face for at least a couple of hours after the procedure, allowing the skin to calm down. You may gently cleanse your face in the evening, but avoid any harsh exfoliants. Wash your face with cool water and avoid hot showers for at least 24 hours.

The results from CUTERA® Genesis have the potential to be long-lasting, with most treatments lasting for about six to 12 months. Rosacea resolved with Laser Genesis can be gone for an even longer time. To maintain these results and prevent their recurrence, you may want to get yearly CUTERA® Genesis treatments.
